Volume 2 Introduction

       Welcome to Deeper Learning Journal of Practice (DLJP), Volume 2. DLJP’s purpose is to increase deeper learning outcomes for all.To that end, the Journal’s articles, by educators who serve in P-12, college and university, adult education, and in a variety of roles, provide examples of their practices in a way that readers who work with any population can adopt or adapt.

       DLJP Volume 2 includes articles detailing authors’ work with students, and articles detailing support of educators’ professional learning. From fifteen manuscripts received, Volume 2 contains seven articles and a book review. Each contains clear, detailed description of the author’s or authors’ practices. Volume 2 is a collaborative effort of educators who have devoted time and effort to share in detail some of their practices, our Editorial Board members who work diligently to produce a publication that forwards deeper learning for all, and For Deeper Learning’s Board members who approve and support Deeper Learning Journal of Practice.

        Teaching, Learning, and Living: Joining Practice and Research, by Ann Lieberman is reviewed in Volume 2. Ann Lieberman has dedicated a lifelong career to promoting K-12 educators and researchers mutual, collaborative learning.This edition of Deeper Learning Journal of Practice is dedicated to Ann Lieberman, in appreciation of her steadfast, devoted trailblazing.
